[RDD] rdlibrary import

Greetings,

I don't believe that this is a problem with Rivendell at all, but one I 
am trying to track down in regards to using rdlibrary to import files.

One of our Production rooms uses Cool Edit and about one in ten files 
that come from that room won't import, rdlibrary complains the file is 
corrupt. Simply reopening the file in Cool Edit and doing a "save as" 
overwriting the original fixes the problem.
Other wave editors such as mhwaveedit won't open the file either.

Looking closely at one of these files I found it had no EOF marker.

Does any one have any ideas why this may happen and only occasionally.
